I am currently listening to a NASA press conference online. Phoenix is officially ended. We haven’t heard from it since Nov 2, and haven’t had a real “conversation” with it since earlier than that. They will probably still try to hail Phoenix for the next three weeks, but they don’t sound too hopeful of hearing anything. I’m kinda tearing up here at my desk; in addition to being an amazing mission, it was such a huge experience for me. The last @MarsPhoenix twitter post is: “01010100 01110010 01101001 01110101 01101101 01110000 01101000 <3,” which translates to “Triumph <3.”
